I adore spending creative time with my boys especially when it’s one on one! A super simple way to have a little Mama and me creative time is setting up a watercolor project. I have two perfect Easter & St. Patrick’s Day Watercolor Art projects for you to enjoy with your little ones or that gives them something fun to work on while you make dinner tonight!

Get in some quality time with your kids and have a little watercolor date!

Setting up a watercolor project is SO easy all you need is:

  • a black line master {you can download my templates eggs here & shamrocks here} printed out on white cardstock
  • Crayola Washable Watercolors & the brush that comes with it. *This is the exact set we have. Don’t buy the cheaper watercolors their colors aren’t as vivid.
  • cup of water

Since it was SO easy to do I couldn’t help but keep the good times rolling and create another blackline watercolor master but for Easter this time!

Easter Kid's Craft: Water Color Eggs {FREE outline printable}

These eggs are nice and big so they are perfect for getting creative with! We made ours into tie-dye eggs but you could do polka-dots, stripes, keep them solid, or even paint faces on them and make them into an egg family! Your kiddo’s imagination can go wild with these!
