I love Christmas Carols and have been known to sneak listen to them even before Halloween {shhh…don’t tell!} so when I was invited to join this group of AUH-MAZING bloggers in the challenge of creating a Holiday Song Inspired Project, I was thrilled! Let me show you how I created my NOEL Christmas Pillow Set!
To start you’ll need 2 plain pillow covers.
I sewed mine out of a drop cloth but you could easily purchase a plain cover at most stores that sell home décor. I put a plastic grocery sack inside of each of my covers to keep the paint from bleeding through to the back.
Next, I designed my NOEL Christmas Pillow Set in my Cricut Design Space. {Font BEBAS NEUE & Crown in Cake Basics Collection}
Then I used my Cricut Explore to cut out a vinyl stencil.
I used transfer tape to place my stencil onto my pillow covers.
Ready for paint!
I used a stencil brush and some Martha Stewart craft paint {I love that you can use this stuff on anything!} in both Titanium and Green Gold. I think I may layer another darker shade of gold on top of this green gold to get a more bold gold. I’ll keep ya posted! {Follow me on Instagram and Facebook to catch the update!}
While the paint was still wet, I gently peeled up stencil.
Once the paint was dry I popped them onto their pillows and they were ready to go! I love my new NOEL Christmas Pillow Set!
Now you have to pop around and check out every tutorial! You won’t be disappointed!
