When Life Gives You Lemons {Lemonade Gift}

Sometimes life gives our dear sweet friends little lemons…someone’s husband hurts his back causing them to miss their anniversary date night or one of their kiddos is having a tough week. Wouldn’t it be fun to drop off a little something to cheer them up and let them know you are thinking about them!?! How about a When Life Gives You Lemons, Lemonade Gift!

You can pick up a bottle of this super fun sparkling lemonade from Trader Joes for a couple of bucks. I grabbed some ribbon and made this fun tag with my new Cricut Explore. To make the tag I used the outline of the Folk Art Festival Lemon to cut out the lemon shape on a piece of yellow with white polka dots and the font is called Don Juan. {*The Cricut Explore cuts & writes in one shot which is kind of cool! This was my 1st Explore project so I was pretty pumped!} Then I used a standard hole punch many times to punch a big enough hole to slide the ribbon through. It doesn’t have to be super pretty because it is going to be covered by the bow.

I wrapped the ribbon around the neck of the bottle…

then slide tag up the ribbon & tie a bow on top!

Add a sprig of rosemary to make some rosemary lemonade {maybe a shot of vodka if it’s been an especially sour life lemon}.

After a tough day or week wouldn’t you love to find this When Life Gives You Lemons, Lemonade Gift on your porch!?! I would it! I would absolutely make my day to know that I had friends that were thinking about me & you can do the same for your friends {without busting the bank!}
