Apple Teacher Gift {5 Minute Friday}

An Apple Treat For Someone Sweet Teacher Gift {Dolen Diaries}I can’t believe it’s almost that time of year again – Back to School! My boys love bringing gifts to their teachers but honestly after all the new school clothes, backpacks, and supplies have been purchased…this mama likes to keep the cost down. One of my favorite go to teacher gifts is a coffee gift card, however, I decided to go a different route this go around. Nothing is more classic than an apple for a teacher, right!?! Today I’m sharing an apple teacher gift complete with mini caramel dipping sauce! The perfect little something for your kiddo to give to their teacher and bonus it only takes like five minutes to put together! In fact, I teamed up with three other fabulous ladies for 5 Minute Friday and we’re all bringing you some back to school projects you can complete in just 5 minutes!
A friend of mine introduced me to these darling little milk carton gift boxes from Michaels. Seriously, a milk carton gift box!?! I mean what could be more perfect for a teacher!?!
When you pull them out of the box they look like this.
They are super easy to put together. * There are assembly instructions on the back of the box, too.
Flip your box over and you’re ready to go!
I thought it needed a little jazzing up so I added this fun washi tape around the bottom of the milk carton.
Don’t you just love this washi tape!?! It’s by Smash Box and I found it at Michaels.
Next, I used my Martha Stewart fringe scissors and cut up a couple of pages out of an old book.
I always like to scrunch it up with my hands to create kinks in the paper shred.
Place all of the paper shred inside of the box.
Now you are ready for the sweet part of this apple treat! You can find these individual sized containers of caramel dip in the produce section of you local grocery store. {I got mine at Safeway.}
Nestle the caramel dip down into the paper shred.
Then pull the last protective strip over the tape and seal the top together.
Wrap some cute string around the whole box and grab a tag. {I got a box of these adorable tags at Hobby Lobby, Kell actually globed onto them in the aisle and what can I say he’s got good taste!}
An Apple Treat For Someone Sweet Teacher Gift {Dolen Diaries}
I used one of those Sharpie ink pens {the really thin ones that you can write with in regular notepads without bleeding through…love them!} to write “An Apple Treat For Someone Sweet”. Now if that doesn’t say adorable teacher gift, I don’t know what does! Hello, back to school…valentine for the teacher…or end of the school year! If you like my apple teacher gift I would adore it if you would share it!
