I adore carnival tickets, so much so that I had to buy a few rolls even though I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them. The other night I was watching American Dream Builders {L-O-V-E, love that show!!} work on a Colonial Duplex when it dawned on me that Memorial Day was just around the corner! {Did you follow my mind leaps? Colonial architecture makes me think of Americana, which makes me think of red, white, & blue, which lead me to Memorial Day & 4th of July!} I need to get my summer décor going! I grabbed my rolls of pink, white, & blue carnival tickets and whipped out this quick & easy carnival ticket garland!
To make your own you’ll need:
Carnival Tickets, A Small Hole Punch, & Baker’s Twine
Tear the tickets off the roll. Punch two holes in the top of the tickets.
String them on to the baker’s twine in the order you desire. This one is my red {you can substitute pink for red, right!?!}…
then white…
and lastly blue! Repeat the pattern until your garland the perfect length for your hanging space.
I have my garland hanging in our living room on a picture shelf. I love how my garland looks with all the pattern surrounding it! Where will you hang your carnival ticket garland?
