diy football goals

This weekend is a big weekend for our home team, the Seahawks! We’re playing our rivals, the 49ers, in the NFC Championships and we can’t wait! Fingers & toes are double, no triple crossed! We want to be Super Bowl bound! To make those commercial breaks a little more fun for the boys I whipped out some diy football uprights.

To make your own you’ll need:
4 – 6″ pieces cut at 45 degree angles on one end
2 – 6″ piece cut at a 45 degree angle on both ends
2 – 5″ piece
2- 2 x 2 x 2 blocks of wood with holes drilled about 1/2 way through
yellow & white paint

To make the goals more sturdy first they were glued together then they were nailed together with mircopin nails.

A coat of white paint on the blocks and a couple of coats of yellow on the posts and you’re good to go!

Need a ball to complete the game? Fold one like this:
