I originally made my monogram moss wreath last spring and I have to say that I still love it! This summer I added a beachy twist with a starfish and now I’m adding some orange and black Halloween inspired fabric flowers. Here’s how I made them.
Cut a piece of felt into a circle about the size you’d like your flower to be.
Cut eight circles of festive fabric the same size as the felt circle.
Fold the festive fabric into 1/2
Then in 1/2 again
Put a dab of hot glue on the center of the felt circle.
Press a festive fabric quarter into the hot glue.
Continue until you have used all your festive fabric quarters.
You can do 1 or 2 layers of the “petals”. I chose to do 2 layers on all of my flowers for a fuller look.
Hot glue on a decorative flower center.
After a quick addition of some fabulous bling my fabric flower was complete.
To attach the flowers to my monogram moss wreath, I hot glued each flower onto a thumb tack.
Once they were dry I pushed them right into the wreath.
