To kick off a fabulous teacher appreciation week my boys are bringing their teachers some yummy beverages.
I used my Cameo and cut out polka dot apples (available at the Silhouette online store) in red.
I cut out the outline of the polka dot apples in green. *I deleted all the dots, stem, and leaf of a polka dot apple to get just the outline.
I grabbed a black pen and wrote on the back of the green apples a message to go with the teacher’s beverage. Two are getting soda type drinks…I’m picking up a nice cold bottle of Diet Coke for Miss Jen on our way to school since Ash is an afternoon pre-k kiddo and we actually are having REALLY nice weather here in the NW! Gray’s teacher can pop his in the fridge for an afternoon treat.
The soda treats say, “POP! POP! FIZZ! FIZZ! What a great TEACHER you is!” Yes it’s improper but it’s cute& fun!!
Ash’s other teacher Miss Tricia loves coffee so we will be picking her up a little something from Starbucks on the way to school as well. Her apple says, “Thanks a latte!”
Remember!! You don’t need to do something everyday of teacher appreciation week. When I taught it just meant so much to me to know that I was appreciated! It doesn’t need to be an expensive week for you if you don’t have a lot to spend. Most teachers would love a $3-5 Starbucks card! But please do something….they work so hard!
