insta-friday #7

The boys don’t like to dye Easter eggs. The last time we did it I ended up at the table alone finishing them. So I came up with a new idea….temporary tattoos & crayons. The kids had a blast decorating eggs & we whittled down our massive collection of tattoos. My boys are tattoo hoarders.

This is Mr. Mustache one of the egg-cellent creations! Sorry, I really couldn’t help myself there!

The boys and their Easter loot from Auntie Kylah and Uncle Patrick, Nana and Papa, & Gamma and Papa. The big boys got Brick Bibles (all the pictures are made with Legos), Angry Bird stuff, & Seahawks Jerseys. They were thrilled!!

Once we got home they had their baskets from us. They were so excited to finally get to open them! The baskets had been taunting them while they were getting ready for church.

On Monday, Ash started a new preschool.  He loves it, we love it, it was the right move for us.

I busted out some old kindergarten shoes. When I taught kindergarten I would look for fun flats that I knew my girls would go gaga over.

Ash brought home a duck egg from preschool on Tuesday. He was SO pumped! It’s sitting in our fridge waiting for him to decide what he wants to do with it.

My little muffin man is getting SO big! Sometimes I look at him and I can’t believe how big he is. He loves playing with the firehouse / police station. He makes noises and chats it up. He’s really playing!!

Wednesday was gorgeous so we walked to the park before dinner. Kell had his first park swing ride. He was shaking with excitement during his fun ride.

He was chatting it up with the swing after his ride. Seriously, that face!?! This is why I have a hard time getting anything done! I just want to nibble on those cheeks and make him smile! His latest trick is to move his tongue around and say blah, blah, blah as it moves when you ask him where his tongue is. We think it’s so cute we do it all the time. Free entertainment what can we say!?!

Happy Friday!
